I want to make sure that everyone knows that Gary Oldman has only one Academy Award nomination his entire career. One fucking nomination.

Chiwetel Ejiofor gave the performance of the year in 12 Years a Slave, and was my pick to win. Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey has had a better three years of acting than most established actors/actresses have in a lifetime. The competition was great.
While giving a stellar performance in The Wolf of Wall Street, Leo was farther away from a Best Actor win than he’s been in past nominations. Can’t we just recognize a fantastic year of acting, and stop whining about Leo’s loss this year? He’ll get one before he’s done, I’m sure of it.
